🏛 In Court — What to Expect

Stand up when the judge enters or addresses you. Address the judge as 'Your Honour' (District Court) or 'My Lord/My Lady' (High Court/Supreme Court).
Your case may not be called immediately — be patient. Cases are listed in a 'cause list' order.
Speak only when asked. Do not interrupt the judge or opposing party.
If you don't understand something, politely ask for clarification or ask your lawyer.
